PB Swiss Tools center punches, drift punches and nail sets offer precise, secure and cost-effective work. The specially alloyed steel and the precise heat treatment guarantee a pronounced elasticity, regularity, toughness combined with a high degree of hardness.
For your security, all of the tools come with a tempered drive head. When subjected to excessive stresses, they therefore deform elastically and plastically and do not suddenly break off. A knurled shaft offers a secure grip even in wet and oily environments.
Center punches with precisely machined tips combined with a high degree of harness are extremely hard wearing – perfect for the precise and reliable punching of workpieces. In terms of the drift punches, the conical pin with a flat tip is an impressive solution for safe handling when knocking pins loose or punching through sheet metal. With the nail set, the true-to-size conical pin prevents the tool from slipping off the nail head when countersinking protruding nails.
Centre punches made of tool steel are only suitable for work on materials < 40 HRC. For harder materials use centre punches with hard metal tips.
